From:
Attn Michael Menegon,
The MoneyProject group discussed screening situations at length in a meeting prior to my contacting you, and at that time were very interested in a small, intimate setting for our first screening to allow for focussed feedback, and to re-affirm our desire for non-traditional, and organic forms of dissemination. While screening at the Junction Arts Festival interests us as well, we do remain committed to our original plan as a necessary first step for our project. We plan to do a small outdoor screening August 29th which will largely be advertised word of mouth. If you still would like us to screen during the Arts Festival we could consider it as well, but I would need more information as to what exactly would be required (to make sure we can fulfill any commitments made), and what the setting would be like (would there be beer still? etc).
We would still like to know the availability of the lot on August 29th, and what exactly getting insurance entails.
I will be back from Montreal on Thursday so please email me back your thoughts, and then we can talk again when I return. I think time is getting tight for all of us so we should try to figure out what works for everyone asap.
Thanks,
Kim Jackson
